Find A Structural Engineer exists to solve one narrow problem: when something structural worries a property owner, it is unreasonably hard to figure out who to call.
Search results mix repair contractors, marketing directories and engineering firms together. Owners end up calling whoever answers first, which is often the company that also sells the repair. We think the assessment and the repair should be separable decisions.
So we built a single request form. You describe the property and the concern once. We route that request to structural engineering professionals who work in your area and handle that type of project. They contact you directly, and you decide who to work with.
Our model, stated plainly
This website is a lead-generation and referral platform and does not itself provide engineering services. Availability of professionals varies by location and project requirements.
We are compensated by professionals who receive requests through the platform, not by you. That is why using the site is free, and it is also why we are explicit that we do not perform engineering work, employ engineers, or supervise the work that follows a referral.

Where we operate
We currently cover Texas and Florida, focused on Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Fort Worth, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville, plus the communities around them. We would rather cover a small number of markets well than claim national coverage we cannot support.
